What a good friend is

Youve taken my hand
And shown me the way
I found my peace
When you begged me to stay

I wanted to end it
I was in too much pain
I could not take anymore
Instead of warmth I found pain

You believed in me
Without you I'd be gone
You told me not to give up
Even though it felt so long.

I cry every now and then
And realise how much I miss you
Your gone now but you will come back
And one day Ill be able to help you too.
