Tangled in You

Been feeling quite blue
trying not to want you
But surely I do.

These tight haiku rhymes
Evoke memories sublime
But all in the past.

It was in my head
The happiness shared
But not over fast

Took time to believe
You never wanted me
I just couldn't see.

The smiles to entice
The poems were to woo
I was wrapped in you.

I fell and I crashed
I was, indeed, too frail
Your hearts left in tact.

But what you do lack
Is the ability
To love any she

Love only comes shared
But you won't ever give
Alone you will live.

Its not what I want
my aim was to please but
Sorrow sits alone.

The sadness soaks through
Til im left feeling blue
I only want you.
