Waiting

Sometimes you must sit and wait
trust to fortune, accept your fate
dismiss the fears it will be too late...
that you will be past your sell by date.

For if you weaken you may find
you've settled for an inferior kind
though it may be you don't really mind
If your needs are not too refined.

In my experience our standards drop
waiting for someone 'right' to pop
into our lives - in our laps drop
cause our waiting at last to stop.

But do not worry, have no fear.
Perfection is due now - any year
Only kidding... wait and see.
Any time now - you'll find me :o)
