The Little Future Man

Philip was a cute little boy in the second grade. He lived with his Mom. The kids called him Future Man because he saw dreams that soon came true. He saw his cousin Kelly falling down the stairs and, two days later, she did. In another dream, he saw Kevin's mother buying Kevin a toy chopper and, after a week, Kevin got it. Philip told his dreams to the kids in his school. They all listened with great interest.
'We always need true dreams,' Philip would say.
One December morning, Philip came to school, sad and languid.
'What's the matter?' the kids asked him.
'I saw Mom dead in my dream last night,' he told with sorrow. The kids were disturbed. They knew Philip's dreams always came true soon.
'Can't you do something?' Barry asked.
'I think I'll go home and stay with Mom every second as long as she lives.' And from that day Philip stopped coming to school. He spent every minute with his Mom. She loved him dearly, and also believed his dreams. So she didn't go to work and stayed with Philip all the time. Three days later, everyone knew of a horrible fire at the office where Philip's Mom worked. It killed two persons. But Philip's Mom was safe. She was happy and proud of her son whose love had saved her. Next morning she got ready for work and sent Philip to school again.
'Will you be safe?' he asked her before leaving.
'Yes, I'll be safe honey because you love me so much.' She kissed him with a smile.
At the school the kids encircled Philip, saying, 'Philip, your dream's false this time.'
'Oh Yeah,' he returned gaily. 'But we sometimes need false dreams. Don't we?'
