Don't Despair.

When life is getting hard and the road is getting rough
When you think you've reached rock bottom, as life is oh so tough.
Remember all the good things, the things that make you smile,
All the happy memories you have, that makes life so worthwhile.
Into every person's life, there comes a time to laugh and cry,
The darkest time of night that leaves you wondering why
What have you done to suffer so, how can you soon regain
The balance of hope against the loss, of hardship and the pain?
Inside ourselves we carry, a seed of courage there
That one-day soon will blossom and cast aside despair.
Don't give up upon the journey, allow yourself to feel
That in this moment of your life, you need sometime to heal.
You are standing at a crossroads; you need to feel your way
Choose the right path to go forwards until a bright new day
Awakens hope inside you as the pathway through the mire
That once were dreams that shattered, are the pathway to desire.
Don't give up on me my friend; I am walking by your side
Together we will cross upon the waking of the tide.
Each tiny step you take will lead closer to the day,
When all your grief you set aside and meet a brand new way.
