Blinded By Suburbia

I'm often blinded by surburbia although it holds no natural splendour
in and out and round and round, a maze for rats i thought
but still it's full of the female gender.
Society they say is dead, so do the dead all live together?
A miserable band of zombie figures
with long sullen faces about the weather.
Every house is the same it's the same as every house,
dull and drab with a few corners cut out
but i'm grateful says a wee mouse.
The kids grow up, there's gangs and mobs
but dare your children not take part
their life already ostracised, what an awful shocking start.
A modern blight amongst our landscape, i'm disgruntled and dismayed
at least two cars to every house
and with your childs Asthma you will have paid.
Our departmental government, has truly practised pass the blame
and all employees live in suburbia,
what a frightening roundabout game.
Am i blinded by suburbia?
Or am i just willing to close my eyes?
to this monstrous hideosity built beneath our gracious skies.
