A small horse lies in front of her,
"I say my name is Jack.
"Well I am called Karen; please show me your front not back.
"Promise you won't laugh, I am so very shy.
"I promise not to laugh but I simply must ask why?
"Why is not something you should ask an unknown horse?
"Well you've already told me your name, this is getting very course.
"Well maybe this means nothing to you but I am very ashamed of my face.
"Well you're a horse; you have no worries, now turn upon your lying place!
"If you insist¦
"I find it hard to resist!
And with that he turned and Karen burst out laughing,
"I knew it! I knew you couldn't be trusted!
"Its not that, it's the shape of the face you've busted!
"What do you really, really mean?
"Well I'm not scared, quite the opposite I'm totally keen.
The horses head was covered in white paint,
With big black eyes that were crossed out with a taint,
Mane slicked back in supermodel pose,
And shiny if not glowing everlasting red nose,
In one hoof he held a horn that was broke and held no noisy racket,
His other arm was bandaged up protected by a bracket,
"How ever did you hurt yourself?
"I was chasing tadpoles, they own such wealth!
"And how did you end up in this room?
"My life outside was filled with gloom!
"Tell me slightly about it all then?
"It all began as a baby horse writhing in the glen¦
