tense tongue

In a darkened room I can hold my body like speech.
Alone I have senses, I communicate sensuality.
Words in physicality are muscled lean and arching,
Language profusing supple tone, tensed professing
Strength.
Arms like leaded masts cry melodies in skin
And goosebump.
Breathe out anabolic, and whispers
May well be gripping fingers, see: the words are tactile
I could never hold more or less.
And in talking I run and push trust to all limits
I mould the expanse into alarming shapes
Beautiful shapes.
Little dancers, barefeet no ballet shoes -
a deviant paradigm, a voice weighing heavy.
Tangibility in the linguistic physical. Eat sentences,
Swallow.
A raw tendoned tongue screaming,
a raw muscled body careering.
I am not steering
Neither body, nor speech.
