I Fell In Love

Morning break, with a broken neck
I’ve started fearing the holy trek
Wishing wife, her name of J
Acceptance of what will come my way
My feet land of the last of the floor
It’s the last time I shall walk through that door
Last time of everything, time on end
The family are starting to see a trend
Mum and Dad have walked the walk
Never had the last chance to talk the talk
Sisters, fallen angels, wings of god
They killed each other. It seemed so odd
Sunday best, a feel of thread iron lead
Midnight swimming, last resort aching instead
Walk to where the birds meet the dogs
A Wolf’s marathon feed on the jogs
Last look in the mirror, here stares back
The lost soul who’s heart will surly crack
I loved her; she did not give it a return
Maybe she wanted my love to go to hell and burn
I’m on floor 49, the reap art thou bringing
Canneries were never there to start the singing
Screams will be heard, there is not fear of danger
“Silly fool, what falling stranger?”
Looking up, nothing, look down towards my fate
The possibilities of reddening the anger hate
The flashing lights, shampoo lice try changing mind
Thinking I was crazy, why try to act so kind?
A breeze tells me “No! Not Now!”
I reply “No! I’m going to tell the world how!”
No blood needed, no reason to bleed
Fall to my knees, on pain of your greed
The golden gates open, there stands a saint
Alive or dead, dreaming I most certainly ain’t
There she stands, on wait of my life
There she stand, my wishing wife
Closing my eyes, and wait for the count of nine
She grasped my hand, and I held on with mine
Warmth felt then, so forgotten many
All I cared for was that of Jenny
