Mothers’ Day

So it is March 14 2010
What is
The significance?
Of the day?
Is Mothers’ day

Important date
Not only today
But Should be all
The year round
Not commercialised
Like x-mas

But genuinely
Celebrated
Mothers and fathers are
So fundamental
To the fabric
Of society
That commercialising
The event
Is a bit freaky

Shouln’t commercialise
Make profit
What mothers deserve is
Respect

Work in unison
Bring families close
Fathers
Deserve respect
At least those who respect
Themselves by not
Forsaking their children

Wives or partners
Mothers, fathers their off springs
Working as a family unit
All year round
Celebrate
Family event

Respecting Mothers & fathers
Can’t be a commercial event
Pampering our mothers is a must
Lets not make it
Only a day event

As a reference point
The event Is important
For families to celebrate
Not
For entrepreneurs
To profit

Celebrate Family Day
Fathers , mothers & children
All the year round
Replacing Fathers and mothers day
Celebrating it not only for a day
But all the year round

Mom your own time is on its way. Mothers Day 2010 falls on Might 9th this year, in case you haven't already gotten some Mothers Day gift ideas for Mothers Day 2010" spam removed today is the time to make it happen. These women carried their children in the bellies for 9 months (actually longer for most if you do the math) when their backs ached, their body altered, and they lived around the toiled (either going to the restroom or throwing up.) Therefore that alone is enough to make you indebted to your mom for the rest of your life; I do not know what is. Get a move on it do something nice for mom this year.

Why recycle ( edited version 3 months old ) and change your pen name to defend the indefensible. You did not read the poem and fail to overstand the deep meaning. Just read all my poems to comprehend my deep held and rational views about varied themes before coming up with emotion laden views. The comment is not new . To make it current, you could have changed the date. Instead you kept April 30, what were you thinking? Please read the poem again and again and come up with another ration view. Anyway, thank you for your views. We agree to disagree.
