Escape From Chaos

At night or the morning ,
it comes without warning .
You can’t run or escape ,
when you’re in an earthquake .
Mountains shake to the ground ,
tremors are going round .
There are no clothes to wear
and everything’s laid bare .
TV Camera crews capturing all the news .
The foundations are cracked
The transports system wrecked .
There’s no water , no food .
Things don’t look as they should .
No electricity all over the city ,
There’s no phones , there’s no gas ,
It all happens so fast .
Homes destroyed
and lives lost but who will pay the cost
of the insurance claims
and missing peoples names are listed one by one
and rescuers have come .
People they push and shove ,
others reach out with love .
There’s nowhere left to hide .
You can’t turn back the tide
when sea’s rise above you there’s nothing you can do .
Tsunami siren sounds .
People rush to high ground .
To get away from harm ,
hanging to someone’s arm ,are the frightened
and weak and those who cannot speak ,
or see , or understand .
Heading straight towards land .
Tsunamis crashing down ,
washing away the town
200 miles an hour ,
Its an awesome power .
These huge ten metre waves .
No one but Jesus saves .
When everything’s dim ,
put all your trust in him .
