Moschatel, or Townhall Clock (Adoxa moschatellina)

Tiny ‘Townhall Clock’:
pale, slight and delicate,
each face a duplicate, –
miniature so rarely seen,
dainty structure, tender green,
flowers arranged on slender stalk
(crushed by many a rambler’s walk)
– one looks south and one looks north
(Maker’s skill displaying forth),
one looks east and one looks west
(little things show beauty best),
fifth face faces up to me:
Moschatel – delight to see!

Hi Rhiannon
Lovely little poem about what seems a beautiful unique little flower. I will have to google it to see a picture, but your word picture is wonderful.

Hi Rhiannon,
Hi Rhiannon,
you've introduced me to a new flower, I've never seen this particular one before. A little treasure to behold, like your poem.
Jenny.
