I love your bones.
The firm
reinforcements
behind your skin.
I love to see you
standing tall, so stable.
The hidden system
holding you up.
Shoulder blades,
tantalising
the back of your shirt.
The bones in your face,
inspiring
the bends of your skin.
Your jaw,
pushing
your face upwards.
You my darling,
you are a sculpture.
A beautiful sculpture
of bones,
Just don’t ever
let me see them.
Coz from where Im standing,
on my own tower of bones
I like yours how they are.

You know Anne Shirley- I
You know Anne Shirley- I just wish the last 2 lines were a bit different
maybe something along the lines of his bones keeping you tall too- do you know what I mean? Sort of fizzles out otherwise.
