A mother is
warm as a cloud
soft, pussycat intentions
and love-filled heart –

A mother is
peanut butter cookies, a tray
to overcome an appetite
caring to share –

A mother is love and
more love, someone who
sits on your bed at
nighttime’s side and hugs.
