All she want’s she can’t get and she can’t fix up her debt ,
and all the silver gold just weighs her down .
well she can’t find happiness in the way that she Is dressed
and so she goes to all the parties in town ,
where she flirts with every man she meets
cause she’s looking for life on the easy streets
but she can’t see the love she left behind .

She goes to the party with so much bling on her body
that she rattles every time she walks by
and all the silver and gold she knows
can’t sparkle because her eyes are closed
to the dream of finding new and better ways .
All she owns is nothing she says ,
except the silver and gold these days
that might shine but they can never be mine .
