Well she walked through the wind
on footsteps of grace
over the hills ,
she carried her child and a glow round her face ,
singing Mary's son .

Now she raised him with love
like a lamb he went over the hills
carrying his love
in a heart heaven sent
the saviour had come .

Our Father of creation full of love,
we bless this gift you gave to us
and the sacrafice of love ,
singing Mary's son .

Now we walk through this world of sorrow and strife ,
Christians in life carrying our cross .
The cross of Jesus Christ ,
and of Mary's son .
