I woke up

Thank God! You wake me up in a cheerful way
with early morning’s beauty on a vibrant display.
With crimson rose color, the rising sun painting the sky
delighting every heart with its cool soothing ray
from nook and corner, driving the darkness away
along with birds and animals my spirit is spiraling high.
Thank thee for another such day
to think, act and say
in all positive way
from the principle of love and serve, I should not sway
to every creation respect I must pay
Thus God! Thee I thank and pray.
