The forget-me-not blooms in September,

the same colour as blue Summer sky

and it blooms so that we might remember

the bright splendour of June and July.

 

And it blooms so that we might recall,

while the green leaves turn golden and then,

gently pirouetting, they fall,

Summer’s bright splendour will come again.

They're very cute flowers and because they're the same shade of blue and pink that baby boys and girls are usually dressed in they always remind me of children. Thank you, Bee.  I will not forget your lovely comment. Glad you enjoyed it.
