As an early childhood lesson

selfishness, we were taught to shun

to share with sister and brother our sweet

not to fight, as selflessness is a divine gift.

At this ripe age I reflect upon

how farselfishness could I shun?

An utter failure I had been,

so also I find each of my fellw human being

For sahake of personal happiness

all maintain their relationship and perform business.

Even behind a mother’s affection

lies her personal mission.

Any love or affection shown off today

lasts till their personal interests stay.
