Some Thoughts

A heart broken by misconception
Thought to have been a malicious eye
Cradles itself towards a new direction
To forget a love that might have survived

Yet the past is a strong fellow
Hard to purge and easy to accept
A guilt making tomorrow uneasy to swallow
Seemingly avoiding anyone else

It is said that nothing has passed
Yet deep liking emerges from one side
And from the other, truth is to be asked
To know if feelings for the other truly hides

The truth, must it be unveiled?
Or has it already been discovered
Pointing out that everything has failed
And the guilt to torment and make suffer
