The Light

I knock , I seek , I find you there .

I kneel , I  wait  , I ask in prayer  .

I feel , I hear , I find insight  . 

I walk , I talk  , I know what’s right  .

Shine the light down on me .

Shine the light for all to see .

I love , I care ,  I dare to dream ,

I think , I am , I’ve been redeemed .

I laugh , I cry , I like to sing  .

I wish , I trust , I hope for everything .

Let  the light shine down on me  ,

shine the light for all to see .

The light that shines day and night

is there to make the darkness bright ,

The light that shines will always be

there to guide us through the night  ,

Shine the light down on me .

Shine the light for all to see .

I sleep , I wake , I make a plan ,

I choose, I think , I understand ,

I hurt , I heal , I carry on ,

I give , I live , I right the wrong ,

Let  the light shine down on me ,

shine the light for all to see  .
