New Years Eve

On such a night like New Years eve ,

forget the things that make us grieve

and all things we should forget

like all of our unwanted debt  .

The  disappointments we went through

and all the hurt that no one knew .     

Before this year will take its leave

appreciate this years Eve 

all of the things that  made us smile .

the people who made life worthwhile ,

Remember the good times we shared

and the kind words , of those who cared  .

This year is now about to close

and as the story of life goes  ,

  keep on hoping , keep on trying ,

keep believing , no denying .

Life is short so while we are here ,

Live , laugh and love   ,

Happy new year .
