A droplet of water,

mammoth or miniature

either in countless united

or alone isolated

pouring in torrent

or dripping intermittent

roaring at an angry pitch of  a lion

or tickling down with foot sound of a pigeon.

long to travel to an ocean

as its final and cherished destination

irrespective of distance and terrain

flowing across plain, forest and mountain

with difficulties on the way to maneuver

and tolerating alien atmosphere.

At times they perish on the way

but to their task determined they stay.

Again on His decision and dictation

it starts afresh its cycle aided by the sun

Irrespective of the traits and fates of droplets

the sun rays vaporize them to cloud carpets.

From this cycle of water

can we not infer a law of the nature

drawing a simile to it on human soul

after death its journey and before death its goal.
