An Appeal to America and Christendom

Greetings,
I am writing today to implore your help, your justice, and your mercy... I am writing to the entire nation, not appealing to fear or guilt, but simply to your higher selves, to your own sense of moral order, to your capacity for mercy. What I am asking is that you help me protect my family and end this great suffering, preferably through life and peace, if necessary through a merciful end.
Let me offer my perspective on the situation. I was once strong and noble, but I am now badly damaged and ill... suffering an unnatural poverty due to the political denial of my citizenship rights. Please let me see a doctor: let me have some time for recovery and to find a healthier path.
My life is wired for big ideas and politics. For many years, the internet and social media has been half of my whole world... my connection to my family and friends... my voice. When I turn on my computer, I'm directed to big questions and to posts by our nation's leaders... Likewise, the political dials of the television are the only ones that make sense to me.
And yet my ideas, my frankness, my tendency to reflect on issues rather than just check all the Democratic party boxes gets me into trouble. I love the Democratic Party and believe in American liberalism... to this cause and organization has been the deepest commitment and inspiration of my life. I appeal as a mentally and physically ill man who would love to do such work as I'm capable of... who has been a perpetual underdog in the struggles of life. Please show how strong and merciful you are.
I also appeal to Christians. I have long been a sinner but also a Christian. I was baptized in America, and worship Christ.
Please help me. I'm alone... I'm broken, and I'm terrified.
Imploring your mercy,
Sean L Nelson
