The Elephant in The Room

We take a step backward

For equanimity, our lips we bite

He is the harbinger of barbarity

His machiavellian tongue

Spills malaise

The vile capitalist

Masks his malice

Feigning care for the poor

He exploits and impoverishes

Yet the folk, stockholomised

Call him the white elephant

A Christ like- saviour

Some call him the saviour of their taxes, perhaps.

Me thinks not.
