Ring Around The Moon

I’d invite you to the castle,
to see the ring around the moon,
we’d dine under the starlight,
and use the devil’s spoon.
You could tell me about crystals,
explaining halo 22.
I could watch you speaking
and the other things you’d do.
I’d hear about the moon dogs,
we’d give each one a name,
as rings are rarer than rainbows,
we’d enjoy it with no shame.
And when the night was over,
and the day had come again,
we’d relive these precious moments
as we felt the clouds and rain.

Whatever you meant it to be
Whatever you meant it to be about, at the moment it feels like a bit of solace to the soul.
