Take it back! Take it back!

Once a young woman, named Doreen heard a fairy who was caught in a pitcher plant and  rescued the fairy from the plant and, out of gratitude the fairy said,
"Three times, if you make a wrong decision, you will only need to say the words "Take it back! Take it back!" for the decision to be unmade".
Then the fairy flew away but, later,Doreen met three brothers; one who was very rich; one who was very strong and one who just had a gentle heart and all three of them wished to marry her.
And thinking about the proposals made by the three brothers, she decided, "Marrying the one who is very rich will be good for me" and so the rich brother was the one she picked.
And the brother who was strong was very jealous but the brother with the gentle heart was happy for them both.
Many years passed however and Doreen started to feel unhappy with her husband because he was always working and seemed to love making money more than her.
And she started to wonder what might have been if she had picked one of the other brothers to marry.
So she said the words, "Take it back! Take it back!".
And,just as the fairy had said would happen, she was transported back in time to before she had agreed to marry the rich brother.
And so,this time, she decided to marry the strong brother and, instead, it was the rich brother who was jealous while the brother with the gentle heart was happy for them both.
But then, once more, the years passed by and the woman started to feel unhappy again for this husband was controlling and a bully.
So once again Doreen said the words, "Take it back! Take it back!".
And once more she went whirling back in time; this time, to before she had agreed to marry the strong brother.
And because she had already been married to two brothers she wasn't at all sure that she wanted to be married again.
"I might prefer the life of a single woman", she said.
But before long she started to become curious about what being married to the third brother would have been like and so she married him.
And she had never been more happy than with that gentle hearted husband for he was not neglectful like her first husband nor a bully like her second but loving and devoted.
Unfortunately, the two other brothers were so jealous of him that they plotted to kill him.
And, one day, they came to his house and invited him out upon a hunting trip into the woods and, after asking his wifes permission, he went with them.
But, instead of hunting,  they killed their brother and then blamed his death upon a wolf.
Saddened by her husbands death, Doreen said, "Take it back! Take it back!".
And, immediately, she was whirled back in time to before she had allowed her husband to go out hunting with his two brothers and was determined this time not to let him go.
But her husband pleaded so much that she decided that he could go if he took with him a little pistol that he would swear to keep next to him at all times.
Ofcourse, she still worried, after he left wether she had made the wrong decision again.
However, this time, when his brothers tried to murder him, the gentle hearted brother was able to defend himself with the pistol she had given him and he shot his two brothers.
Then, after returning home and telling his wife what had happened, they both lived happily ever after.
