A Brief Satisfaction

I decided to make myself  comfortable

decided it was allowed

Found nice book that was engaging

Jack Reacher weighing in on the side of right

made a cup of tea,

turned a light on behind me

and built a small fire in the grate

dog jumped up to sit on my knee

 all the tasks left undone faded

 somewhere between a duvet

and retiring to my  sitting room

I passed a pleasant hour
