When you’re drifting far away and you’re slipping more each day, 
Don’t let it get to you , because I’m going to tell you what you should do . 
you’ve got to reach out for the Lord .  

Just reach out for the Lord .

If you’re sticking in the mud or there’s some strychnine in the blood.

there is just one thing you should do

you’ve got to reach out for you know who ,.

Just reach out for the Lord , 

you’ve got to  reach out for the Lord.

He won’t ever tie you down .

 Turn you round, because He loves you so.

You’ve .got to reach out ,

You’ve .got to reach out for the Lord .

If you’re drowning in the world and you’re spinning round in a swirl , 
well there is just one thing that you should know, 

you’ve got to know that Jesus He won’t ever let you go .

So reach out for the Lord .

You’ve got to reach out for the Lord .

He won’t ever let you go ,you know, because Jesus He loves you so .
