Dancer In The Light

In appreciating beauty before she left this world

she did it in the way she knew best 

dancing in the light she almost took flight

  like an angel, perfect in every way ,

Her thoughts and her prayers were spoken

in the dance she did

and every move she made was surely blest  .

Dancer in the light  ,you do as you choose ,  

 just as the spirit moves you .

Dancer in the light .

She was like a butterfly without any wings

and she danced until the music was gone .

Love will never die far beyond the sky,

 there’s a butterfly somewhere , dancing in the light

 where the stars shine so bright

and forever the dance will carry on .

Dancer in the light  you do as you choose ,  

 just as the spirit moves you .

Dancer in the light .

How beautiful it must be dancing in the light .

with the wings of love to carry her

forever more across heaven’s floor

where the dance never ends for her

she’s out of breath in a place after death

somewhere in the light of a new day .
