Alicia and the Hole

It occurred to me this morning that there are too many versions of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ - so here’s another...

“Come on!,” said Alicia’s friend, Rabbiticus, as he indicated that they should both jump into the hole.

“No thanks,” said Alicia.

“Suit yourself,” said Rabbiticus, as he did a little skip, then hopped in.

Alicia counted to ten, before hearing a soft thud at the bottom of the hole, followed by Rabbiticus saying, “Laterz!”

Impossible, thought Alicia, but thought nothing more of it, as she continued on her way.
