You can’t build a home with hearts made of stone

It takes a lot of love to make a happy home ,

there’s are kind words everyday to make you feel ok

and a welcome for those who come to stay .

You’re never alone with love in the home

it’s something that money can’t buy

it’s coloured by kindness and furnished with a smile

and a welcome at the door to stay a while  .

Love can be seen between mortar and the rafters ‘

It can be heard in the laughter

of the things people say’ everyday .

There’s a warm glow you’ll feel

with people who are real

they’ll always demand to lend a hand .

There’s food when you’re hungry

and the comfort of a chair

and a time and place to come together in prayer  .
