Driving westwards, symphony of green –
hillsides’ soothing concert chorus of the spring:
fresh foliage unfurling in fragile hues,
bronzings (maybe transient), patchwork shades,
sunlight reflecting on tender leaflets waving,
fringing the blue sky that bears the solo high –
white fluff-floes floating by.

Thank you, Di, and all the shades like different pitches, combining like music. Not driving I could think of taking photographs on the journey, but it was easy to keep thinking, 'Oh, that would have been a good view to catch!' Rhiannon

Hi Rhiannon,

I love the idea of patchwork shades, sunlight reflecting on tender leaflets waving, fringing the blue sky.

There's something very natural in the way you've captured this scene. It also flows well like a classical piece of music.
