Far West Places

Splattenridden, Cripplesease.
Tripping off the tongue, but cemented to the soil.
Would going there, I wonder, take the edge off
enjoyment of the names?
Chips of Penwith's granite landscape
caught between sky and land,
a place that looks like the ancestors
tried to make a user friendly moon.
Boulders and lurking lairs for things
that ought not to exist and
will never be extinct,
grit in the mouth of the mind.
Occasional fears barter with wonder
as one wanders here,
not alone.
Uneasy map of Cornish cloud
mirroring the grey land
walked upon and sung.
Break-My-Neck Farm
and Booky's Castle.

Most enjoyable
little gems dotted around throughout.
"Tripping off the tongue, cemented to the soil" and "a user friendly moon" are particulary well turned phrases.
I wonder if you really need "I wonder" at line 3?
Splendid, in any case.
