There was a man who lived in a dark cave

Was he hiding or was he in his grave ?
(In the first line the 3rd word is A)
A saint or a hermit or a caveman .
(In the first line the 4th word is man)
Man had knowledge . He was part of a plan .
(In the first line 5th word is who)
Who left the cave ? We did , before our birth .
(In the 1st line the 6th word is lived)
Lived and loved just for a while here on earth.
(In the 1st line the 7th word is in)
In time we evolved and now we are here .
(In the first line the 8th is A)
A spiritual world is ever so near .
(In the first line the 9th word is dark )
Dark to the night and lost with insight .
(In the first line the 10th word is cave )
Cave creatures coming back into the light .
