This morning! The rescued fox story really moved me. Yes, its face was stuck in a plastic container. And yes, plastic pollution and the air pollution are back on the agenda. Thank goodness for that!
We took a different route to school with my astmatic son this morning to avoid the highly vehichled roads. It was a steep climb and therefore exhousting my unfit muscles. The view was that of olive shades disappearing in the mist.
Perfect, just perfect! An Artist's soul or canvass, a writer's imagination! A poet's inspiration flamed! I stopped and caught my breath and made a mental note to write about this almost mediterrian vista in my mind's eye. In reality this is the view of Kent Countryside laced with Ancient Oaks, Copper Birches if I had my looking glasses on and apple blossoms almost in bloom!
Back home, feeling a little bit groggy from my (helathy) doze of AstraZeneca. On the school gate, we exchange stories of Oxford Vaccine. Some feel elated! I speak a bit too much. I know about too much about science, you understand. Therefore, I say too much. Traditional methods of vaccine productions versus cutting edge methods. The irony is not lost on any of us.
Nevertheless, we are all going to be elated soon. The vaccine will "sizzle", quoting a poor metophor from my diabetic brother -in -law.
