Amphibian chorus pays tribute
To the sound of thunderous applause
Droplets dance on a lake once quiet
Soft then heavy
Heavy then soft
Brush strokes of light illuminate the grey canvas above
Revealing purple, blues, and greens
Old faded dirty made clean slick and new
The timpani crescendos
And trees dance a waltz
The sky sends an orchestra
And its silent clamour lulls me to sleep

Very vivid pictorially and
Very vivid pictorially and 'audibly'! I've always enjoyed hearing the rain when falling asleep, so cosy inside, and such a lovely sound. Rhiannon
