Midnight chimes
but hours of night
still to come before the light
arrives with dawning
of new morning:
fresh promise,
fresh  day,
fresh year –
yearning
for
fresh start,
fresh heart,
fresh life
recharged.

It was meant as a general comment on the yearning of many (though including myself!) but to remind, that the desire and resolutions are needed, but above all, the awareness of the need of the One who can recharge and lift when things are low, and enable progress, bit by bit. Rhiannon
