Jenny's Giggle In The Garden

It was a quiet afternoon in Karmasville and Jenny heard the birds singing in the tree outside her window .  She opened up the window and she could smell the scent of gardenia and jasmine in the air . A soft summer wind caressed her face and she thought to herself , it’s a nice day for a bike ride , so she took her helmet and went downstairs . Her parents were busy and never heard her say ,

‘Be back soon , just going around for a bike ride through the park”

Off she went along the street and across the bridge where some boys were fishing and then up the lane to the top of the hill and in through the front gate at the park . As she made her way through the park she noticed a sign on the path Emperors Garden Open today . Then a little further along she came to the green keepers cottage that had a sign “ Welcome Jenny “.

She knew that the sign was meant for her so she got off her bike and went to the front door of the cottage and it opened by itself . Inside the Emperor was sitting in his armchair and greeted her ,

“Hello again little child . So good to see you again , Would you like to go for a walk through my garden again ;’

“Yes please “ Jenny said .

‘Well you better get the key to the secret door then “  The emperor said ,

Jenny took the key from the usual place and opened the secret door to the garden where she walked through into a very colourful and beautiful place with bridges and streams . Along a pathway she walked where suddenly she heard a loud thumping upon the ground and as the noise got louder she his behind a tree to see what was coming her way. It wasn’t long until she saw a few flippy  flumpy bumpy stompers who were stamping on the ground as they made there way along the road . Behind a tree nearby there was a blue nosed green eyed , finker who squatted down as the bumpy stompers passed by and the sound of their boom thumping thuds shook the daylights from the sky and then just as soon as they had come the bumpy stompers had passed on by  .

Jenny looked over at the green eyed finker who squinted at her and said ,

“Don’t know about you , but those big footed garden path guards always

Give me the hippy-hee-bee-gee-bee-shakes . “

“Well that’s the first time that I’ve ever seen or heard them . Who are they and what do they do ?

“They just stomp around as if they own the place. I’ve been told their job is to pound the ground to spread the magic seeds around “

Jenny replied ,

“Oh I see , I’m actually feeling a little nervous myself after seeing those creatures on the march making all that noise “:

“ Tell you what , let’s go and eat some giggle sticks . That will make us feel much better. Follow me. “

Jenny followed the blue nosed , green eyed Finker who walked along the path to a steam then over some stepping stones to a tall wall then through an archway opening where multi coloured sticks were sprouting out from these bubble shaped bulbs growing in circled clumps in garden beds all around a pebbled garden with a number of bench for anyone to sit down .

Jenny said .,

“Oh this is a really nice place“

The blue nosed finker  plucked a few of the giggle sticks and handed some to Jenny . He started to eat them and said .

“They’re very scrumptious you . Try them for yourself ..

A few moments after they ate them , they couldn’t help themselves and they started to giggle . They couldn’t stop giggling . The blue nosed finker nose turned pink and his eyes went from green to silver and they sparkled . Jenny  giggled so much that she was bent in half and couldn’t speak for the giggling but eventually after a while the giggling stopped .

“I’ve never laughed as much in my life “ Jenny said .

A whisper came in the wind and said ,

“You have received the gift of laughter , now also receive tears of joy “

They both were overcome with an experience of being loved by an innocence so pure that it brough tears rolling down their face which made the nose of blue nosed finker from pink back to blue and made Jenny’s face shine as if was brushed by stardust  .Atter the tears subsided Jenny said farewell to the Finker and continued her walk through the garden . On her way along the path she met a gardener who spoke to her .

“Do you know God makes everything grown in this garden ?’

“Jenny was lost for words but replied ,

“So does everything here belong to God”

 

The gardener smiled and said

“Well that depends on Gods plan is as He created everything to have life bit not everything belongs to God . He created it but some times things that don’t belong here even though God put them here : ‘They are here because they have a purpose to be what they are . Many seeds are planted, good and bad  but it all depends on the soil where they are planted in to determine what they will become and who they belong to . You see no one can fully understand the masters plan “

Jenny replied ,

““So you mean there are good seeds and bad seed that land here , so is that why the  flippy  flumpy bumpy stompers come walking through to scatter all the seeds around into different places .“

The gardener replied

“Even the seeds that are scattered and some can end up in places where they should not be . There is no way that the seeds of life can bear fruit unless the the master allows it to happen /. That is the mystery of life that no one can really understand except for the creator of life itself “

Jenny said

“Thank you for telling me all this . Now I think I know more than I did before. “

The gardener walked with Jenny along the path and showed her the exit door to bring her back to the emperor . There were two statues of as lion that came to life as Jenny approached .

The first lion roared in a kind tome and said ,

“Well child , did you have a giggle in the garden with a blue nosed Finker with green eyes “

“Yes I did .

Jenny replied .

The second lion asked ,

‘Did you hear a whisper in the wing and shed tears of joy ?”

Jenny replied ‘

“Yes I did “

“Did the gardener of the earth tell you about the creator of life ?”

Jenny said ,

“Yes he did “

The other lion said ,

“Well then I guess you are free to leave and return back to the world you know

Behind the secret door .The emperor is waiting there for you . So remember to hop , hop , hop, and knock,.knock  knock on the door  ?

Jenny nodded her head made proceeded to do that and the exit door opened by itself . Jenny walked through the door and was welcomed back by the emperor who said .

“Well hello again little one , did you enjoy your walk through the garden today

“Thank you emperor , I had a wonderful time “

Said Jenny .

“Before you leave here are some gifts for you ?’

He handed her a bell for her bike that would make people happy when ever would ring it . Then he gave her a light for her bike that would make the stars shine brighter in the sky and her last gift was an amulet to wear around her neck that would always keep her protected from harm .Jenny thanked the emperor and left the cottage and put the new gifts on her bike and made her was y back home . When she got there her parents had never even known she had left . She put her amulet away in a safe place and lay down for a while reflecting on where she had been and everting she had seen in the emperors garden .
