An ocean of lights
The night is silent.
Floating orbs cover my view as I stand next to my lighthouse.
Tall and powerful as she guides me on my way
My ship that was left with no life, water or food has been refueled by her kindness
By her moonshine that feels more comfortable than tonights glowing moon
Lighting the roads that we ride. Lighting the waves that we face
Our journey together drifts us into an unknown cityscape
Colored by shadows from those who would have walked here in the day
For in the day the sleeping ruins shift and change into a nest of worker ants
Building up the skyscrapers that let them climb to the food they consume
But tonight these streets are ours and we admire the red paintings that have been drawn across the city
Paintings of the lives of people and their passions, stories captured in heart and blood
The sands of time have been kind to this dreamscape
But the dessert dunes seems to push me further away from my lighthouse
I hope to see a flash of her light again
As I walk towards an oasis where I can rest my hat
