One other note: This was not written by someone who has experienced being deaf, if anybody who knows what it's like is offended or had any constructive criticism please let me know, I'll put it into consideration!

Preview: Diana Clark, a deaf girl hitting seventeen, went into a coma years ago. After waking up, she suddenly regained her ability to hear. She's still unsure about everything 'sound'.
"Diana Clark," The principals assistant yelled for her entrance. The voice was raspy and unpleasant. In Diana's head, every voice sounded the same. She never knew that a woman's voice goes higher than a man, but a man who hadn't hit puberty would sound even higher.
She was used to being called in ever since she could hear.

It's a bit tricky
It's a bit tricky and it seems the story is supposed to be true, which probably it is not. All the same I don't think anyone will be offended.
Welcome home! Tom
