*** Follow Your Favourite Authors on ABC ***

Every author on ABC has an RSS feed. To add somebody to your favourite authors, click on their ID, which will take you to their home page. Scroll down to the bottom of their list of stories and you'll find a little orange square, which is their RSS feed. Click on the square to go to their feed page, then choose 'subscribe to this feed' to add the author to your favourites.
To see what's new from your favourite authors, view feeds in your browser. In IE8, for example, if you show the Favourites bar, the Feeds tab is between Favourites and History.
FTSE100 has put his RSS link at the top of his list of stories, so if you're not sure what the orange box looks like, go to FTSE100 and take a look.
If you want to put your own RSS feed at the top so that people can find it more easily, just copy the following and paste it into your author profile:
<div class="feed-icons"><a href="/feed/user/50890" class="feed-link">Subscribe to my RSS feed</a><a href="/feed/user/50890" class="feed-icon"><img src="/misc/feed.png" alt="Syndicate content" title="Syndicate content" width="16" height="16" /></a></div>
You'll have to replace the 50890 (twice) with your own user number. If you want to know what your user number is, just add a comment below and I'll tell you. Or I'll do it for you if you like.
