Jerry's Last Stand

JERRY'S LAST STAND

Dripping blood he limped across the great sandy plain and took shelter
against leather brown cliffs. He made peace with the old enemy and
sighed his last. Maggie smashing open the door screamed "Jerry's dead,
Jerry's dead". Her mother cursing the stains on the carpet kicked the
victorious cat.

Tom flew out the window bounced off the garage wall, swung round the
washing line and smashed into a bucket. The bucket rolled towards the
doghouse where Spike drop kicked him into orbit. Jerry licking off the
ketchup leant out the window and shouted "Fooled Ya!"
