Before everything, I was happy
Before everything, I smiled.
I loved you
And I knew you loved me.

But what we had could not go on
And it was only a matter of time.
Because of my love for you
I had to let you go.

My heart has never felt so heavy
And I don’t know how I will survive.

But that was the problem.
