In Case You Don't Remember

Found you; curled against you
where you rested, soundly
on Deserted Beach.
You were just aware, I think,
unfolded, mildly smiling
in amongst the dogs that soaked
the sun around you lazing
on the sand.
Not a bark, or growl, they opened
sleepy windows and sniffed as if to say,
You again! then shifted up
to let me in;
didn't seem to mind me
fading in and out from time
to time; allowed my keep returning
to the spot. And then
awake, I left you where you sighed,
and dreamt yourself to bed.
I say all of this
incase you don't remember,
but now I think you will do, even though
I tried to not disturb you -
too much, love.

This is surreal - I wondered
This is surreal - I wondered if perhaps it was the ghost of someone visiting a loved one.

Bee - this is euphoric. Love
Bee - this is euphoric. Love the analogy of the dogs, and you have described it so well... their nonchalance and acceptance, that I can actually visualise them, making the imagery even more powerful.
Hope you're feeling OK today. Thinking of you.

I felt this was you nudging
I felt this was you nudging an ex lover, shaking up the past full of love, taking the intimacy to a shared daydream. Anyway, it's soft and gentle enough to be bounced around in. Really serene.
