Grace.

So much said in
so few sounds,
words would fail to share
the parts of you we see so clear
for everything you’ve hidden,
chewing down on sleeves and rolling
in potato skins and grass and leaves and hard hats
you find and see in lights that don’t reflect far enough
for our eyes to see unaided
by your guidance.
The kind of laugh that resonates
through the seams of your trousers,
the dirt on your shoes,
the toys on the floor,
the hair in my ears,
the kind of eyes that
see all and
are seen by all too.
We wait on every word you choose to
refrain from speaking.

This is lovely. I guess that
This is lovely. I guess that you are communicating the unconditional love given to a child or other loved one Ben. You've managed to do it in a very good poem.
