Realising her mistake

She looked out the window and realised
what a huge mistake she had done
Tears swept down her pink cheeks
She could not believe of what she had become.

She had neglected everything she had loved
and now they had all left
She never saw it comimg
She now knows it was THEIR love she should have kept.

She should have listened to those who loved her.
then she would not be here
Its now way too late to fix anything
Now shes got nothing but fear.

He warned her not to tell any one
that if she did shed regret what she did
But her life is so miserable
She feels as if shes stuck in a dark, scary pit

She stands up and walks to the phone
And petrified as she phones a familiar feeling
It rings twice and a comforting voice answers
The tears all of a sudden come speeding.

It was her mother
That was on the other end
She told her everything that had happened
And didnt know if her body could mend.

Her mom told her to come home
and that it was going to be over soon
She hung up and packed her bags.
And ran outside under the shining moon.

She was so scared that he would be behind her.
But she never looked back
She jumped into her car
And drove away hoping her life would soon be back on track.

When she finally got home
She couldnt believe her eyes
Everyone was soo happy to see her
But she thought they would hate her for her lies.

But they told her that he had blinded her
with false kindness, love and trust
She now she saw what they meant
That to him it was all lust

Her family made her see
that it wasnt her fault and it was his mistake
But she was still angry
of all the love from her he had to take

She started a new life
and tried to forget the past
she did what she could to never look back
Even though her arm was in a cast

Her life with him was over
and she felt as if she could breathe
And her home that loved and cared for her
Is what shed never leave
