I know that this sounds absurd?

We all have strange thoughts but I wonder, is this life for real?
I know that this sounds absurd, but it’s sometimes how I feel,

What is this life that we are living & is there anything more?
And does it have real meaning & if so, what is it really for?

Will we have another life, given to us, in yet another time?
And if we do, will I know if that life, is yours or really mine?

We maybe ask the question, is there more to life than we know?
Do we live & then die with our dreams, never allowed to grow?

Where am I & am I really here, or am I somewhere else?
And am I, who I’m supposed to be & am I really myself?

What do others think of me & do they see me, as I really am?
Because I’d like to be who I’m meant to be, not just another man.

What if someone knows the answers & they’re looking down on us,
So are they watching & they see our mess, with all kinds of stupid fuss?

Where am I & is this place, where I’m really supposed to be?
And what am I really here for, could someone please tell me?

Hello Carole, thank you for your comment, it's always nice to receive one, or maybe more. I will try to remember to look up your recommended book by Nietzcshe, though I hope that it won't be too heavy for my rather simple grey matter. But life is amazing isn't it, so I hope that there is something more? Kind regards Chris.
