Pretentious Poem

I use big words to hide the talent that I do not have
I masquerade with metaphors that have no real meaning
My verse and rhymes are of nugatory value
Claiming a position of distinction as I write
Forever demanding merit and arduous attention that is wholly unjustified
My vowels are so tenacious in their nature
Adjectives used by the score
A true zenith in writing
Unyielding in its myrtice in purest form
For it is a vacuous prose of undulating fashion
With words that are passionate within their desires
So reach for your dictionary and savour the moment
For this is a most pretentious poem
If you understand my true meaning..........
