In the middle of London's jungle,
In the soft light of an unseasonal heatwave,
I suddenly cry for the city.
Its myriad houses
And their anonymous occupants;
Its untidy complexity
Functioning somehow, anyhow,
Smoothly, miraculously.
I know it could all be destroyed;
Think, possibly it could still all be saved

Hi there, David;-)
It's nice to have you on board. Hope things are well with you, and I see you are still on top form, as far as your poetry goes, at any rate.
Tina;-)

We're an overloaded little
We're an overloaded little country, rife with crime and people who don't care about each other, the thought of the next generation is terrifying, because those people are currently kids often lacking respect. Kids are neglected, animals are neglected and the economy is shot. I think we've had it, mate. Thought provoking piece. Good read.
